Why am I doing this:

I took the course on Photojournalism as I was beginning a project - an online journalism site that covers a variety of topics on tabletop minature wargaming. So if there was to be a specific area of interest, it would be that - but that's hardly interesting enough for everyone, is it? So I am constantly on the look out for other subjects of interest. Although I must admit that I do prefer taking event photos and candid shots of peoples' expressions.

I cannot say if I have discovered a specific, personal style either - my favoured technique however would be making use of the rule of thirds. Its a simple technique where one recognises that the frame can be divided into 9 equal parts, and that the subject should be placed at the inside corners of these parts. These regions are where the eye is attracted to when looking at a picture, so naturally if we wanted to draw attention to a subject, we would position the frame as such.

These are very simply techniques, however, it does go to show that interesting photos are easy to achieve. So enjoy your time here!
